I have been thinking of Hot Dogs lately and thought of this picture. Though this is in Los Angeles and we had an excellent food there, I am thinking of a place in Syracuse New York where we using to get the freshest and best hot dogs I have ever had. I don’t remember the name but I will find out.
The place I was thinking about that had the best hot dogs was Heid’s. Heid’s of Liverpool, located just north of Syracuse, N.Y., specializes in delicious hot dogs, coneys, sausages, fries and ice cream. It’s a distinguished symbol of central New York’s cultural history and an irresistible draw to area residents and travelers alike. Founded in 1883 by Valentine Heid, it’s one of the nation’s oldest true fast-food restaurants. Thanks Joe for reminding me.
